Al Jazeera America (AJAM) has now been made officially available on Time Warner Cable (TWC). The newly launched news channel will reach almost 55 million homes in America in both SD and HD formats. The 24-hour channel will highlight US and international news. The network will join BBC America, CNN, FOX News and others in TWCs news bouquet.
Commenting on the carriage going live, Ehab Al Shihabi, Al Jazeera Americas interim CEO said: We are very pleased that Time Warner Cable in [market] has agreed to include us in their line-up. As always we remain committed to providing in-depth, unbiased journalism and were excited to work with Time Warner Cable to make our channel available to their customers.
AJAM had debuted with a full programming line-up in August this year.
