Grass Valley has announced that Alan Wright will lead the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region as senior vice president. He will be based in the UK and report directly to Jeff Rosica, executive vice president, who announced his appointment.
As we move forward with the key strategic initiative of transforming our organisation, and driving the development and growth of our business throughout the EMEA region, Im pleased to welcome someone of Alans skill and knowledge, said Rosica.
Wright has a background in the media and technology segments. He joins Grass Valley from UK-based production services provider
Red Bee Media, where he was the chief commercial officer and a member of the executive leadership team. At Red Bee, Wright was responsible for sales & marketing, product management, and defining the overall company strategy.
Wright will design and execute new strategies at Grass Valley that will help customers migrate to file-based environments with Grass Valleys software and hardware and products, as well as its integration and 24/7 managed services.
Speaking about his new role, Wright stated:Im looking forward to helping clearly define the overall company strategy for this region and working with Grass Valleys local teams to stimulate growth and sustain existing client relationships to benefit us all.”
