Image Nation Abu Dhabi and Front Row Filmed Entertainment have released the first trailer for their upcoming Saudi-Emirati family comedy film, Al Eid Eiden, set to hit cinemas on July 11.
This family-friendly comedy follows a young Saudi-Emirati couple and their three unruly children on a vacation at Warner Bros. World and the WB Abu Dhabi Hotel on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. As their holiday adventure spirals into chaos, the family navigates laughter, mishaps, and unexpected friendships, discovering the true meaning of family along the way.
Al Eid Eiden was written, directed and produced by a team of talented Emirati women, aligning with Image Nation’s mission to create opportunities for Arab filmmakers and storytellers. The team includes director Maitha Alawadhi (X, Charlie, Nour) in her first feature-length project, producer Rawia Abdulla (Amal’s Cloud, Contact Line), and scriptwriter Sara Al Sayegh. The film was shot across various locations in Abu Dhabi, including Yas Island’s premier attractions like Warner Bros. World Yas Island, The WB Abu Dhabi, the world’s first Warner Bros. themed hotel, and Yas Mall.
The film stars Emirati actress Meera Almidfa as a mother balancing her independence and family responsibilities, and Saudi actor Fahad Al Butairi as a workaholic father learning to express his love. The couple’s children, played by Abdulmajeed Fahad, Layal Fahad, and Abdulmohsen Al Harbi, include mischievous Ali, headstrong Mariam, and shy Mohamed. The film also features performances by Shadi Alfons and Hassan Rajab Alhammadi.
Al Eid Eiden will have a wide theatrical release across the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the wider Gulf region on July 11, distributed by Front Row’s new label Haywire Pictures, which focuses on mainstream titles.
