Miranda Technologies gained its highest market share in 2011 and the Middle East contributes substantially to that, according to Kevin Joyce, chief sales and marketing officer at the company.
“The Middle East is one of the fastest growing regions for us,” claimed Joyce.
“We are, therefore, looking to expand our team further in the region. Already, we have a dedicated sales resource to look after Saudi Arabia and are identifying other countries where we may need similar people.
Joyce added that Miranda has transformed its business strategy substantially to ensure that it continues to operate successfully. It has moved away from merely selling products to providing an end-to-end workflow or offering greater integration with other third party products.
We have decided to focus on three main applications namely, playout, production and delivery instead of just products. This, of course, requires different kinds of service and requires us to pay greater attention to solution architecture. We are undertaking these transformations inhouse and it has paid off, added Joyce.
