The project involved the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the complete lighting solution along with providing a motorised telescopic system and kitting out a control room.

Dubai-based distributor deployed a comprehensive lighting system and provided other elements for one of the studios at Saudi Broadcast Authority (formerly Saudi Broadcasting Corporation).
The studio, which accommodates two or more sets, is designed for talk shows and cultural programmes. UBMS was contracted to provide a flexible studio design to ensure quick turnaround between different productions and programmes.
The project involved the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the complete lighting solution along with providing a motorised telescopic system and kitting out a control room.
The motorised telescopes allow for quick changes to the vertical positioning of the attached luminaries. Together with a low torsion telescopic tube set and an efficient suspension control system, UBMS claims that it is able to ensure quick and precise positioning of studio lights for illuminating different sets and programmes.
UBMS worked with broadcast lighting company, ARRI and local Saudi partner, Nesma Telecom & Technology Co. Ltd, to bring this project to fruition.
