Canon launched their new EOS C300 into the Middle East market on 28th February at CABSAT 2012. The C300 marked an entry into the world of motion picture recording as the Canon stall demoed two new products in the exhibition, namely a video camera and SLR.
The demos where given by placing both the products in different environment built at the stall itself for the visitors, the advantages of both the products were showcased, the video cameras excellent and high definition recording even in lowlight condition gave it a unique selling point, and the SLRs ability to detect even the smallest of details made it an interesting feature, the SLR is a distinctive studio and sports camera.
According to Irfan Khan, the technical support specialist for Canon, the overall response and the interest for these two new products has been excellent.
