Famed Egyptian comic puppet Abla Fahita has released the promo of her first series titled Drama Queen. The first teaser of the upcoming series is slated to release in the first half of 2021.
Netflix announced that Season one of Drama Queen has officially wrapped production.
Drama Queen is a six-episode series revolving around the adventures of Abla Fahita. The show’s producer has also revealed a photo from behind-the-scenes of filming the new series for Fahita, who will be joined by Bassem Samra, the Donia Maher, and Osama Abdullah.
The show is being produced by OKWRD Productions in cooperation with ASAP Productions and executive producer Amin al-Masry.
The series is directed by Khaled Marei and written by Fahita, with the help of Mohamed al-Gamal, George Azmy, Sarah Murad, and Mahmoud Ezzat.
The puppet made her debut on YouTube, where she introduced her puppet “family” in a series of comedic videos.
