Hassan Ghoul has been appointed managing director of Grass Valleys Middle East operations. Ghoul, who previously headed ATG Broadcasts Middle East office, will be based in Dubai.
Speaking exclusively to BroadcastPro Middle East, Ghoul said: I joined Grass Valley on April 1. There are plans to expand the role of the Dubai office, which presently covers the Gulf countries to support the whole of the Middle East and North Africa region.
Grass Valleys team in Dubai will relocate to a larger office at Al Shatha Tower in Dubai Media City in early summer. The new office will have a demo room as well as other facilities aimed at offering better customer support to the companys customers in the region.
During CABSAT, Grass Valleys EMEA operations head Alan Wright confirmed that the company would strengthen its position in the Middle East and its EMEA team in the United Kingdom was expanded to support this effort.
Grass Valley presently has a team of five at its Dubai office. However, there are plans to expand the team to support the companys MENA plans.
We will have more marketing capabilities in the new office and a demo room as well, added Ghoul.
