Jamal Khashoggi, the head of the new Arabic TV news station backed by Prince Al Waleed, mentioned that the emirate has a very strong chance of being chosen as other news channels also operate from it and offers a competitive environment.
Prince Al Waleed’s Kingdom Group announced the launch of the 24-hour news channel last month. At a press conference, the prince announced that the new channel will focus on development in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world.
Speaking about the planned content on the channel, the prince commented: The Arab world is interested in the fields of business, employment, economic development, and is focused on prosperity and growth.”
