In the current year, the program welcomes three fresh talents from the Middle East, poised to share both their passion and technical expertise.
In a significant milestone for the Canon EMEA Ambassador programme, 62 cross-discipline creators have joined its esteemed ranks, marking the most comprehensive update in the past three years since its inception in 2008. The programme, renowned for uniting photographers, videographers, and cinematographers, serves as a pivotal industry initiative fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the broader imaging community.
Selected through a meticulous process led by industry experts, this year’s intake is expected to play a crucial role in advancing the programme’s objectives. These goals encompass building robust connections between Canon and the professional community, providing support, education, inspiration, and nurturing visual storytellers at all levels who share a passion for imaging.
New artistic voices are set to enrich the conversation, with talents like Camilla Ferrari and Chiara Negrello leading the way. Both emerging creatives share a history with Canon as alumni of the Canon Student Development Programme.
Binoj Nair, B2C Business Unit Director, Canon Middle East, said: “We are thrilled to welcome the new cohort to the Canon EMEA Ambassador Programme, a diverse and dynamic group of visual storytellers who share our passion for image-making and storytelling. A panel of industry experts has carefully selected these talented creators, representing the best of their respective fields, from photography and videography to cinematography. We believe this group will not just mark a change but boldly spearhead a transformative era for the program. Moreover, the expanded size of the program opens doors for us to extend our reach, inspiring and empowering a broader spectrum of creatives through impactful workshops, compelling talks, and enlightening tutorials.”
