Tsouri will be responsible for enhancing the operations and output of global bureaus and contribute towards increasing Sky News Arabia’s digital reach, effective March 1.
Sky News Arabia (SNA) has appointed media veteran Youssef Tsouri as Head of News. Under the new role, Tsouri will oversee the Sky News Arabia, SNA as well as the newsroom editorial strategy and content, according to the Emirates News Agency.
Tsouri has over 23 years of experience, gained across various reputable international media institutions in the UAE and abroad. Prior to his new role, Tsouri was working for France 24 in Paris for the past 10 years. He has also worked for MBC where he joined in 2002 as a news presenter and later occupied the position of Editor-in-Chief.
Commenting on the appointment, Tsouri, said: “Over the years, Sky News Arabia has solidified its position as a credible, well-respected media platform both regionally and internationally, and I am pleased to return to the UAE to be a part of this outstanding effort and team.
