The theatre officially opened on August 13 with a screening of the Saudi feature film 'Shams Al Maaref'.
Real estate investment traded fund Swicorp Wabel REIT has announced the opening of a multi-screen AMC cinema at Al Makan Mall, situated in the Saudi city of Hafr Albatin.
AMC Cinemas will be operating the theatre with eight screens and a total capacity of 850 seats.
The theatre officially opened on August 13 with a screening of the Saudi feature film Shams Al Maaref.
Every auditorium at AMC Hafr Al Batin 8 is fully equipped with a massive screen, 4K Barco laser projector, immersive surround sound with Luxe Recliner and Plush Rocker seating throughout. Every seat is appointed with a table and USB charging port.
Commenting on the launch, John Iozzi, Managing Director of AMC Cinemas said: “It gives us great pleasure to open our newest location in Hafr Al- Batin. The cinema chain already has two other theatres in Saudi Arabia, one in King Abdullah Financial District and the other in the Panorama Mall in Saudi’s capital city Riyadh.
