The theatre officially opened on August 13 with a screening of the Saudi feature film 'Shams Al Maaref'.
Real estate investment traded fund Swicorp Wabel REIT has announced the opening of a multi-screen AMC cinema at Al Makan Mall, situated in the Saudi city of Hafr Albatin.
AMC Cinemas will be operating the theatre with eight screens and a total capacity of 850 seats.
The theatre officially opened on August 13 with a screening of the Saudi feature film Shams Al Maaref.
Every auditorium at AMC Hafr Al Batin 8 is fully equipped with a massive screen, 4K Barco laser projector, immersive surround sound with Luxe Recliner and Plush Rocker seating throughout. Every seat is appointed with a table and USB charging port.

The cinema chain already has two other theatres in Saudi Arabia, one in King Abdullah Financial District and the other in the Panorama Mall in Saudi’s capital city Riyadh.
