According to the terms outlined in the agreement, the Fujairah Government Media Office will avail WAM's services as a primary media partner.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) and the Fujairah Government Media Office have officially entered into a Media Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to collaborate and organise the upcoming Fujairah Media Forum, scheduled for February 2024 under the theme “Parallel Media.”
Signed during the second edition of the Global Media Congress, the agreement aims to strengthen media collaboration between WAM and the Fujairah Government Media Office, laying the groundwork for future joint endeavours in various media domains, according to a report by WAM.
Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director-General of the Emirates News Agency, expressed WAM’s eagerness to collaborate with national media talents and support their future projects. He acknowledged Fujairah’s significant strides in presenting noteworthy media initiatives, emphasising the upcoming Fujairah Media Forum’s potential to attract decision-makers and leaders of international media companies.
Jamal Adam, Director of the Fujairah Government Media Office, highlighted the partnership with WAM as a crucial support for the upcoming Fujairah Media Forum. He emphasised the utilisation of WAM’s expertise, providing logistical support to establish the forum as a major media partner, drawing on WAM’s experience in launching the Global Media Congress.
As per the terms of the agreement, the Emirates News Agency will extend necessary media support for the Fujairah Media Forum events in February 2024. This includes the publication and broadcasting of forum-related media materials through WAM’s website and social media channels. Moreover, WAM will assign a dedicated team of editors and photographers to cover the forum’s proceedings.
In return, the Fujairah Government Media Office will leverage WAM’s services as a principal media partner, solidifying their collaborative efforts to ensure the success and global reach of the Fujairah Media Forum in 2024.
